SOME INFORMATION OF PULAU SINGA BESAR

Pulau Singa Besar is an island that is a refuge for wildlife and is approximately 17km from the coast of Langkawi. As you know, Langkawi Beach has a beautiful terrain with unique rocks, mangroves, and tranquil beaches. Despite being named the Pulau Singa Besar, we will never find lions on the island but we can see many animals there such as eagles, monkeys, mice, hornbills, snakes, peacocks that roaming freely around the island.

EAGLE FEEDING SESSION ACTIVITIES 

The boatman or tour boat driver would turn off the speedboat motor and subsequently throw the chicken into the middle of the sea. In a few moments, we will be able to watch and see a hundreds of brown eagles and several rare white birds flying over the heads of tourists to grab the chickens. You can also watch the eagles fly beautifully with their strong and mighty wings and witness the situation where they will grab a chicken in the middle of the sea after the boatman has thrown it away.

CAMPING ACTIVITIES

This activity can also help tourists to explore more deeply about the island such as seeing the shape of the places, the environment, and the animals that you will found around the island.  In addition, they can also enjoy camping that is rarely found in other places such as camping on an island. Camping activities in a quiet area such as on an island area will give more tranquility to the individuals who participate in this activity and are away from the noise in the city.   This island has a  beautiful waterfall with natural beauty.
